Victorian Tile Restoration Southport Cheshire
This Victorian tiled floor in Southport Cheshire was found beneath carpet and a layer of vinyl tiles by the current owners. Who would want to put vinyl tiles over such an impressive large Victorian floor; a real crime in our opinion.
This floor consists of a black and white chequer board design with a wide cubic boarder from tiles manufactured by Craven Dunnill and laid around the 1890′s.
Once the vinyl floor adhesive had been remove and the tiles thoroughly cleaned, we sealed the floor and applied a gloss finish to enhance the look and colour of the tiles.
