This beautiful Victorian hall floor in Ockbrook Derbyshire was full of damp caused by a fitted carpet and underlay preventing any rising moisture from escaping. As a result this trapped moisture has left lots of water marks and various deeply ingrained stains that could not be removed.
Many of the tiles have also been stained with different oils and paint splatters. The floor consists of a mixture of tiles from Victorian tile manufacturers Joseph Hamblet of West Bromwich and The Campbell Tile & Brick company of Stoke.
