This Victorian hallway in Leicester had seen a lot of traffic and plenty of substrate movement over its 100+ years, but as a result the floor now had bags of character, the very thing you’ll never get from a brand new floor.
This was quite a tough job as we had to tackle a few issues with the substrate and replace quite a few tiles, but at the same time we didn’t want to lose the floors charm and character by having a completely new floor; which would have been easier.
After replacing and re-fixing the Victorian floor tiles where necessary we set about re-grouting, deep cleaning and sealing the floor with a colour enhancing breathable sealer.
