This large stunning Victorian tiled hallway in Borrowash Derbyshire was originally hidden beneath carpet. The floor was very well laid and generally flat as a board, though many of the tiles were really quite badly stained with linseed oil.
Along with carpet adhesive and paint splatters that had soaked into the tile body, there was also a lot of dished tiles in the main thoroughfare making it more difficult to get an even polish. The floor was sealed and polished with our satin gloss polish which enhances the tiles colours and provides a tough non-slip finish.
