This little Victorian Minton tiled hallway in Longford Coventry had multitude of different contaminants to deal with, including paint, carpet adhesive, old oil stains and did I mention paint?

After removing what seemed like miles of skirting paint from the border tiles we tackled the carpet adhesive and then gave the whole floor a thorough deep cleaning. The finish used is a hard wearing breathable satin, that makes for a much easier floor to keep clean.

A beautiful Victorian geometric tiled hallway in Coventry, comprising of tiles made by Craven Dunnill Jackfield, which you could guess pretty easily when you see those beautiful orange tones, which provide an excellent backdrop for those stunning baby blue triangles. Overall the floor was in very good condition save for a few areas where it had been subjected to some unsympathetic restoration.

Our aim was to draw out as much natural colour and create an easy to maintain floor, suitable for a household which has young children. So after cutting out the odd tiles and re-fixing any loose tiles, we deep cleaned the floor, sealed the tile body and added a protective finish to the tiles. The results are plain to see; radiant colours, non-slip, hard-wearing and easy to keep clean.
