At some stage in this floors life, there was a pipe laid straight through. And the unsympathetic repair really was horribly done. Over time the concrete had discoloured, moved and cracked and ultimately been repair again in a fashion.
The floor now looks much better with new tiles, a quality sealer and subtle sheen.
