Minton Floor Restoration Newark Nottingham
This original Minton Hollins Victorian tiled hallway in Newark Nottinghamshire was in great condition save for a few areas that had been previously repaired with decorators filler and just a few cracked tiles.
The floor had definitely been sealed with Linseed oil at some stage, you can see the ugly brown tinge in the ‘before’ shots. As this oil dries into the tile body it take dirt etc in with and later oxidises to form a hard coating; very tough to remove.
After thoroughly cleaning the floor, the hallway tiles were treated to our premium sealer and then a satin polish.
