A wonderful old basalt stone floor in Derbyshire which we recently cleaned for a local church. The floor had seen nearly 200 years of wear and tear, damp, oil and wax stains and different cleaning techniques. All of this had turned the stone very dull and hard to clean.

Victorian Minton Floor Restoration Royston Hertfordshire This wonderful Victorian geometric floor in Royston, Hertfordshire was covered with an ageing shellac varnish that was cracked and flaking. The old varnish was acting as a smoke screen, obscuring the wonderful colours contained within the floor, giving the floor a continually dirty appearance.
