Carr Restoration Ltd aim to do things differently from our competitors, by specialising solely in Victorian and Edwardian tiled flooring. The reasoning behind this was simply down to a real appreciation for the beauty and craftsmanship involved in these floors. To us, these tessellated and encaustic tiled floors are works of art, real treasures from our past.

Further to this we firmly believe you cannot be a specialist in more than one field, for example you cannot be an expert in Victorian tile floor restoration, carpet cleaning and wooden floor sanding; the expertise would be far too diluted.

You cannot learn to be a specialist floor restorer by attending a short 3 day course. Never trust any tradesman that doesn’t have an extensive portfolio like ours
